The Moisture Renewal Mask is used to bring soothing relief to dry, compromised skin. In a spa service, it typically follows cleansing and massage; it can be applied with a quartz roller for optimum effect.

Bel Mondo’s mask is featured in a 12-step protocol — called the Angel Kiss Facial — developed by Oncology Spa Solutions to train estheticians on how to provide safe, comprehensive care for clients with cancer.

Bel Mondo’s bio cellulose masks are rejuvenating; they calm and cool skin almost instantly. With a 15-20-minute application of our Moisture Renewal Mask, hydration levels will increase and sensitized skin will feel less inflamed.

The key actives are Pentavitin, Chamomile, Sodium Hyaluronate, Green Caviar Sea Grape, PRODEW 600, and Acetyl Tetrapeptide-5. These ingredients work tandemly to restore and seal moisture while alleviating inflammation. Equally important is what is not in our formula; it is free from additives (ethyl alcohols, parabens, artificial fragrances, etc.) that can irritate compromised skin.

Bio cellulose is a synthetic fiber produced by cultured bacteria (Acetobacter Xylinum). This industrious strain of microbes functions as “tiny weavers”. They spin substrates of sugar into long, fibrous ribbons (called bio cellulose) that intertwine into tightly-woven fabrics.

The majority of sheet mask fabrics (cotton fiber/wood pulp) are manufactured through processes that include petrochemicals. Bio cellulose fabrics are produced in highly-regulated, laboratory environments; Bel Mondo’s bio cellulose fabrics are steam-sanitized and free of toxins or other impurities that can create irritation.

Bio cellulose is extremely hydrophilic (water-loving); each fiber can maintain 100 times its dry weight in fluid. This property allows bio cellulose masks to stay moist during application. Second, bio cellulose isn’t merely just good for skin – it is biocompatible with skin, meaning that it interacts safely with living tissue.

Bio cellulose mask fabrics provide unequaled dermal adhesion, allowing them to transfer cosmetic ingredients efficiently. The texture of a bio cellulose mask is smooth and gel-like; its underlying structure is incredibly resilient. Bio cellulose masks can be quickly applied and repositioned as needed, making them easy to work with.
