The royal wedding of Prince William & Kate Middleton is being touted as “the wedding of the century.” Considering we’re only 11 years into the century, that distinction may be a little premature; but it was a historical event nonetheless. And I’ll admit, I woke up obscenely early just to watch the royal nuptials.
A Royal Pampering
Since I was getting up so early, I decided to make an event of it! So I invited a few close friends over, and we sat in our pajamas (I added my tiara from my wedding), and we ate cookies (our version of scones) and drank tea. And between the end of the ceremony and the kisses on the balcony, a brilliant idea struck. I decided we should pamper ourselves. I got out my Bel Mondo Bio Cellulose Anti-Aging Masks. I was one short, but we made do.
So, while Kate Middleton was busy becoming the newly ennobled Duchess of Cambridge, my friends and I were pampering ourselves, wearing our masks and eating our cookies. The best part was we didn’t miss anything: We just sat & watched the royal wedding, masks on our faces. And when the wedding was over, while we weren’t royalty, at least our skin looked and felt great!
