Boost the cooling

Boost the cooling, soothing benefits of your bio cellulose mask

By: bmbAdmin | 7 Jul 2015

The summer heat has been brutal – at least here at Bel Mondo headquarters in New Jersey. The heat and humidity sometimes make it difficult to stay hydrated, especially if you’re active and/or not sitting in an air conditioned building.

Put your mask in the fridge!

We decided to use our Bel Mondo masks to beat the heat – we’re clever like that. By putting one of our bio cellulose masks (I used the calming mask) in the fridge for 20 minutes, I had an extra-soothing, extra-cool mask that actually helped me cool down my entire body – similar to using a cool, damp towel, but SO MUCH BETTER!

Cool off the pulse points on your face and neck

You may or may not realize this, but you have pulse points on different areas of your body where, if you cool down that particular point, it has the effect of making you feel cooler all over.

Pulse points are areas on your body where blood vessels are close to the skin. Two of the most commonly known pulse points are your inner wrists and your neck. But you also have pulse points on the insides of your elbows and knees, the tops of your feet, the insides of your ankles, and on your face near your temple.

Hit two pulse points with your cooled Bel Mondo facial sheet mask

While technically our bio cellulose sheet masks only cover the face, hitting the pulse point near the temple, it’s easy to cool down your neck as well. You probably already know that Bel Mondo masks are infused with high quality skin care ingredients, and that there is always extra fluid in the single-use pouch, even after you remove the mask.  After you’ve applied your cooled down Bel Mondo mask to your face, rub some of the cooled fluid onto your neck as well. Not only will you feel cooler all over, but you may also feel more relaxed – and your skin will look great!
